Privacy Policy

VibeTrip: AI Trip Planner ("VibeTrip", "we", "us") helps you plan city trips with AI-generated itineraries. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: no account sign-up, no ads, no selling of data, and your trips live on your device.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, precise GPS location, health data, or browsing history. The city you plan for is text you type — the app never reads your device's location.
2. Where your trips are stored
Generated itineraries are saved only on your device. They are not stored on our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
3. Services that help us run VibeTrip
To build an itinerary, the app sends your trip inputs to our backend, which uses these processors:
- Supabase — hosts our backend and the anonymous sign-in (servers in the EU).
- Anthropic (Claude) — generates the itinerary text from your city, dates, and interests.
- Google Maps Platform — verifies each suggested place and provides its photo, rating, and opening hours.
- Ticketmaster — finds live events for your travel dates when you choose the Live events interest.
- Viator (a Tripadvisor company) — lists bookable tours and activities. If you book, the booking and payment happen on Viator's own site under Viator's privacy policy; we never see your payment details.
- Google Play — processes the optional VibeTrip Pro subscription; we never see your payment details.
Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
4. Security
All data sent between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). API keys for the services above are kept on our servers, never in the app.
5. Data retention & deletion
Generation records are linked only to your anonymous ID. If you want them deleted, email us (address below) from within the app's support flow — because accounts are anonymous, deletion requests are honored per-device on request. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored trips and your device's link to its anonymous ID.
6. Children
VibeTrip is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
